Overview
The SWITCH [COMBY1 OKI is an all-in-one multi-function handlebar control cluster designed specifically for electric two-wheelers, e-scooters, and commercial e-rickshaws. Built as an integrated command module, this switch consolidation unit combines primary lighting, directional turn signals, and horn controls into a single housing, allowing riders to effortlessly manage essential vehicle functions across standard 12V to 60V DC power circuits.
Manufactured with an impact-resistant ABS plastic outer shell and heavy-duty copper alloy contact points, the switch is engineered to withstand daily heavy usage, persistent road vibration, and exposed outdoor environments. Its compact housing mounts directly onto standard 22mm (7/8-inch) handlebars, reducing clutter on the control panel and offering crisp, reliable tactile response for everyday urban commuting and commercial operations.
Key Features
- Multi-Function Integration: Integrates headlamp selection, 3-position turn signaling, and horn push-button functions into a unified handlebar control cluster.
- Ergonomic Handlebar Layout: Designed to fit standard 22mm (7/8-inch) handlebar assemblies, cleaning up wiring and saving control space.
- High-Conductivity Copper Contacts: Premium copper alloy internal connections ensure maximum electrical conductivity, minimal voltage drop, and reliable power routing.
- Broad Operating Range: Engineered for universal application across low-voltage lighting and control loops operating from 12V DC up to 60V DC.

- Universal Multi-Wire Harnesses: Color-coded multi-pin terminal plug connects seamlessly into standard combination switch wiring harnesses (Headlight Power/Output, Flasher Input, Left/Right Indicator Outputs, and Horn Loop).
- Standard Handlebar Fitment: Engineered for universal mounting onto standard 22mm (7/8-inch) diameter handlebar tubes with a secure clamping mechanism.
How to use
1. Isolate Power & Open Handlebar Cover:.
Turn off the key ignition, trip the main DC breaker, and disconnect the main battery pack leads. Unfasten the retaining screws securing the handlebar fairing/housing to access the switch cluster harness.
Verification: Turn the ignition key ON to confirm that the instrument cluster, lights, and horn remain completely unpowered.
2. Disconnect Legacy Control Switch:
Unplug the multi-pin wiring connector linking the old switch assembly to the main vehicle harness. Unclamp or unbolt the old multi-function housing from the 22mm (7/8-inch) handlebar tube.
Verification: The legacy switch unit releases cleanly without putting stress on the remaining handlebar wiring.
3. Mount & Connect SWITCH [COMBY1 OKI]:
Position the SWITCH [COMBY1 OKI] onto the 22mm handlebar tube and tighten the integrated mounting clamp. Connect the pre-wired multi-pin terminal leads to the vehicle harness loops:
Main Power Input: Connect to the +12V–60V DC auxiliary/lighting feed originating from the DC-DC converter.
Headlight Output: Connect to the master headlight control feed wire.
Turn Signal Circuits: Connect the input lead to the flasher relay output, and the left/right leads to their corresponding directional signal harnesses.
Horn Loop: Connect the two horn leads across the primary horn circuit.
Verification: Terminal block plugs sit firmly and all individual splices are thoroughly insulated with electrical tape or heat-shrink tubing without exposing bare copper wire.
4. Reconnect Power & Test All Functions:
Reconnect the main battery leads, reset the circuit breaker, and turn the key ignition to ON. Perform a full system check:
Light Switch: Toggle to verify the headlamp turns on and off cleanly.
Turn Signals: Switch Left and Right to confirm the corresponding indicators flash correctly.
Horn Button: Press to verify immediate, clear horn response.
Verification: All three integrated sub-systems activate cleanly without flickering, voltage drops, or interference between functions.
Care and maintenance
Power Isolation: Always turn off the key ignition, trip the main DC circuit breaker, and disconnect the battery pack before performing any maintenance to prevent electrical arcing and short circuits.
Housing & Harness Check: Periodically inspect the ABS housing for cracks or loose mounting, ensuring the multi-pin connector plug remains tightly seated and fully protected from moisture.
Functional Verification: Regularly test all three integrated controls (headlight switch, turn signal selector, and horn button) to confirm immediate switch engagement and zero voltage drop.
