What is included
1x Controller Testing Device
1x Integrated Insulated Test Lead / Wiring Harness
Suitable applications
Electric Scooters: Low-speed, high-speed, and heavy-duty e-scooters.
Electric Bikes & Trikes: E-bikes, fat-tire bikes, and light electric tricycles.
Electric Motorcycles: Personal mobility devices and light EV mopeds.
Custom EV Builds: DIY electric vehicle conversions and prototype builds.
How to use
1. Safety & Power Isolation: Turn off the electric vehicle's ignition switch and disconnect the main battery pack from the controller or wiring harness before handling test leads to prevent short circuits.
2. Connect Controller Power & Throttle Test Lines: Plug the tester's power output and throttle interface leads directly into the corresponding controller connector ports.
3. Test Motor Phase & Hall Sensors: Connect the 3 motor phase leads (Yellow, Green, Blue) and the 5-pin Hall sensor harness to the testing device terminals. Slowly rotate the motor wheel by hand.
4. Verify Throttle Signal Output: Twist the throttle slowly while observing the signal diagnostic lights on the device.
Care and maintenance
Keep the device clean by wiping the casing with a dry or slightly damp cloth, avoiding high-pressure water or harsh chemical cleaners. Inspect the test leads and connectors regularly for loose pins, frayed insulation, or signs of wear, and store the unit in a dry, cool place away from moisture when not in use.
