Suitable applications
Knapsack & Backpack Battery Sprayers: Standard 16L, 18L, and 20L electric spray pumps used for agricultural crop spraying.
Dual-Motor & High-Pressure Sprayers: Delivers continuous high discharge power required for dual-pump systems without voltage drops.
Trolley & Portable Farm Sprayers: Ideal energy source for mobile garden and farm spraying rigs.
How to use
1.Inspect & Prepare Battery Terminals:Prerequisite Safety Check.Verify that the battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion. Ensure you identify the correct polarities: Red terminal is Positive (+) and Black terminal is Negative (-).Verification: Visually check that the terminal leads are intact and clear of debris.
2.Connect to Spray Pump Wiring:Turn pump power switch OFF first.Connect the red positive cable from the pump's internal harness to the Red (+) terminal on the battery. Connect the black negative cable to the Black (-) terminal. Ensure connector clips or screws fit tightly to prevent sparking.Verification: Turn the spray pump power switch ON briefly. The motor or battery voltage indicator on the pump should light up. Turn it OFF again.
3.Initial Battery Charging:Recommended 6-8 hours initial charge.Plug your 14.6V fast charger output pin into the spray pump charging port. Plug the charger into a standard AC wall socket. The LED light on the charger will glow Red indicating active charging.Verification: Keep charging until the charger LED changes from Red to Green, indicating the battery is fully charged to 14.6V.
4.Operating & Monitoring in Field:Discharges up to 400 Litres.Operate your agricultural sprayer as normal. The 12Ah capacity allows continuous operation for spraying up to 400 litres of chemical solution per full charge. Recharge the battery as soon as you notice a drop in spray pressure.Verification: Check the built-in voltmeter/LED indicator on your pump to monitor energy levels while in use.
5.Off-Season Maintenance & Storage:If storing the battery for long periods (e.g., during off-crop seasons), charge it fully once every 60 days to prevent deep discharge and maintain its 2000+ cycle life. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.Verification: Measure voltage periodically with a multimeter; stored voltage should stay above 12.6V.
Care and maintenance
Daily & Seasonal Maintenance
1.Recharge Immediately After Use:Prevent deep discharge.Charge the battery immediately after finishing field work. Leaving a lead-acid/lithium battery fully discharged for prolonged periods causes capacity loss and reduces lifespan.
2.Keep Terminals Clean & Corrosion-Free:Ensure steady power flow.Inspect terminals regularly for chemical buildup or rust. Wipe terminals with a clean, dry cloth to ensure tight wire connections and prevent power voltage drops.
3.Off-Season Maintenance Charging:Every 30–60 days during storage. If storing the sprayer during off-crop seasons, fully charge the battery before storage and apply a refresh charge every 30 to 60 days to prevent self-discharge.
4.Protect from Moisture & Direct Sun:Storage temperature control.Store the battery in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight, rain, and corrosive agricultural chemicals. Extreme heat reduces overall battery life.
Best Practices for Long LifeUse the Right Charger: Always charge using a compatible 14.6V fast charger to avoid overcharging or undercharging.Avoid Complete Draining: Recharge when spray pressure starts dropping—do not run the battery down to absolute zero.Secure Fitment: Ensure the battery is firmly seated inside the sprayer compartment to prevent internal damage from field vibrations.
